Access to safe water is a major challenge in Kataba area of Nalolo constituency. Before a boreholes was installed at the local primary school, class attendance was poor because pupils spent a lot of time fetching contaminated water from shallow sources along the Zambezi plains. Both public health and personal gygiene were major challenge. the education and health delivery systems were very constrained.
